Crossing the site where two rivers display
A communion of laughter and tears.
An event that once seemed so far away
Is now reunion after fifty years.

This majestic footbridge represents our term
In ways that were not there before.
Domestic days depend what the tridge can confirm,
That we continue to extend and explore.
