Brief a January woods thawing,
Shows open stationary wounds. 
Relief is not yet a good drawing 
Of migration with aviary loons.
The old path much is rougher,
Precarious designing is the plod.
Its cold wrath's clutch tougher;
Nefarious is defining it's sod.
Appealing snow spurns the scene
To box in it's pre-revealing scars.
In healing till' foliage turns to green,
And blocks leaf-concealing stars.
